Tag a value, get a KPI.Hit a badge, hit a Key Result.
Wudd's gamification layer is not a leaderboard with a smiley face. It is the slide-009 thesis: every Company Value tag feeds a live KPI, every Badge threshold drives an OKR Key Result, and every point is bounded by the cap stack so it stays worth something.
Tag a value, get a KPI. Hit a badge threshold, hit a Key Result.
Most companies admit they cannot maintain twenty KPIs, let alone intangible Company Values. Wudd makes the recognition graph the primary management signal.
Self-tracking. Daily. Entry time is one to three minutes per recognition, in-thread, in Connect. Over a quarter, the data compounds into KPIs the Strategy module reads, Key Results the OKR module advances, and a fairness picture the Recognition Equity widget surfaces.
Three primitives, one signal.
- 01ValuesYour defined Company Values. Each recognition tag is one of these. The tags compute the live KPIs.
- 02BadgesBehavioural thresholds bound to Key Results. Cross the threshold, the badge auto-assigns and the KR advances.
- 03PointsFinite, capped at five layers. Spendable in the Rewards Store. Worth something because they cannot be minted freely.
Values + Badges + Points = KPI / OKR data. There is no separate data-entry workflow. The act of recognizing, one to three minutes a day, is the act of producing the data. The Strategy module reads the data. The OKR module reads the data. The fairness widgets read the data. One stream, three management surfaces.
Badges with thresholds, bound to outcomes.
Every Wudd badge ties to a behavioural threshold and to a specific OKR Key Result. The threshold is plain, "5 cross-team recognitions in 30 days", not a vague "great teamwork".

Points are scarce so they hold their meaning.
If anyone could mint unlimited points, the leaderboard would be a high score in a free game. Wudd's cap stack, five layers, server-side, `abort(422)` on breach, is what makes the points worth caring about.
- ·Per-giver weekly cap: a finite weekly recognition budget per sender
- ·Per-receiver monthly cap: a ceiling on what one employee can accumulate
- ·Per-Company-Value monthly cap (overridable): every value stays alive in the data
- ·Per-receiver daily cap on manual recognition + value-level period caps with per-receiver sub-caps
Recognition that compounds into Strategy.
The Values, Badges, and Points stack is included from Wudd Silver onwards. Strategy KPIs and OKR Key Results read from the same graph in Platinum.
